    Description

Solid oak hanging mounting brackets to hold and display a rug or wall hanging (weaving, tapestry, quilt, etc.).
Comprised of two long wooden pieces with three evenly spaced screws with wing nuts. The edge of the textile is placed between the two rails, and when tightened, the wooden rails provide pressure to hold the rug in place. Very creative and practical solution for hanging a sturdy textile.
There are also two holes in the back for hanging the bracket.
Came from Grey Tones Gallery in Albuquerque, meant to hold and display a Navajo rug. It is perfect for these rugs due to their smaller size. Also the decoration reminds of Native rug patterns.
Holds the rug or weaving by pressure; does not make holes or marks on the item.
Very good quality - carefully made, finely finished. In very good preowned condition. Made of solid oak.
Wood is 21" long and 1 1/2" tall. Each half is 1/2" thick.
