Lovely VTG 14k Gold Jadeite Jade Circle Pin / Brooch
Presented is a beautiful 14 karat  gold and jadeite jade pin or brooch.
This is an American piece, dating to around the 1960s. The pin is done in a
circular form, prong set with 8 jadeite jade oval cabochons, measuring about 9.5
by 7 millimeters. The jade is an attractive light green, with darker and lighter
green mottling. The pin has a rollover style safety clasp.
The pin is in great condition. The jade cabochons are securely prong set,
with no chips. The clasp functions well and closes securely. There are no breaks
and no repairs.
The pin is not stamped or hallmarked, but we have tested it with nitric acid
and guarantee it to be 14 karat gold.
The pin is about 1 1/4 inches in diameter.
The pin weighs 6.2 grams.
