    The photos say it all, this is a gorgeous piece, with one very tiny chip on the base edge, shown in one of the photos which keeps it from being perfect.
    And note the presence of gold all along the edge of the base. Very subtle, and it is there! The diameter of the plate is 7", that of the lid is 5-3/4", and the combined height is about 5".
