This stunning vintage brooch features a large butterfly design crafted in solid 18k yellow and white gold. The butterfly's back and head are pave set with approximate 0.26 carats of very fine quality round brilliant cut diamonds which gives the piece its wonderful touch of sparkle, while the large wings are completely covered with the most wonderful and colorful enamel work and most intricate plique-à-jour technique. The colorful plique-à-jour and enamel are intact and the piece in whole remains in excellent condition with its original finish and patina preserved.
