    This auction is for an Antique Sandwich Opalescent Flash Glass Cup Plate, Lee Rose #324, Barlow #1385, c. 1835-1855. This is a very fine colored flint glass cup plate with a rosette and star pattern with a rayed rim. The cup plate has 66 even scallops, which identifues this as Lee-Rose #324. This cup plate is listed in "A Guide To Sandwich Glass Blown Tableware, Cup Plates and Salts" by Barlow and Kaiser, plate #1385. Barlow's book valued this opalescent color at back in 1993! I offer this colored Sandwich opalescent glass cup plate with no reserve and a Buy It Now. This is a part of a collection of over 100+ Sandwich Glass that I am currently offering on eBay. The collector kept meticulous records on each cup plate. This one was purchsed at Remminger's Antiques show on 5 - 30 -1976, for . CONDITION: The condition is very good with a short tight hairline off the rim as expected in a cup plate from this early period. The glass also exhibits some wonderful flaws found in the early glass of this period such as; sand, bubbles, straw marks and striations.
