    Description

Being offered is a vintage bank check.  The check was written by the city treasurer of the town of Goldfield, Colorado.  This town is a ghost town now but was located near Victor and Cripple Creek, Colorado.  Goldfield was also a gold mining town.  The check is dated 1899 when written, but was paid in 1901.  It was cashed by the Bank of Goldfield, and looks like it was cashed by the Colorado Ice Storage Company.  The check does show age and has a pinhole.  There is some minor soiling in places typical from a used check.  Otherwise, the check is in good condition, intact, no rips or tears, would say nice shape for paper over 100 years old.  Approx. 9 1/8" by 4".

Check out my Ebay shipping terms.  PLEASE NOTE:  Shipping items could take up to 5 business days, or 7 regular days once payment is made due to being an old man with arthritis, back issues, and a host of other medical problems.  I will try my best to get the item out sooner.  Thanks for your business.
