You are bidding on this original antique cancelled check from The Elk Hill Coal & Iron Company. They were Miners and Shippers of Superior Anthracite Coals in Dickson City and Carbondale Pennsylvania. The check was drawn from NAtional Trust Company in New York City and dated 1869. It was signed by William Richmond whom was a prominent figure in Scranton Pa business history. In excellent condition it makes an excellent addition to any colelction.
